St. Louis Designers to Showcase Their Fashions
 ST. LOUIS - Fashions by a group of designers, who work for an international known retailer, were previewed at a pre-show.

ST. LOUIS, (SLFP.com) May 6, 2003 - A group of talented designers are putting on a special fashion show this summer, July 19th, to showcase their unique styles. The designers, who work for an international known retailer, include:
Candice C. Stehno - Graduated from Washington University with a B.F.A. in
Fashion Design. She interned in NY with Carolina
Herrera as a couture pattern maker where the patterns
that she created were photographed and published for
collection previews in WWD for fall 2000. Candice has
also designed and created patterns for Weissman's
dance apparel. Presently, Candice is working as
assistant technical Designer for May Merchandising'
young attitude lines.
Nicole Zich - Graduated from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee with a
B.A. in fashion Design. Nicole has developed and sold
her one of kind jewelry to several Boutiques in the
Milwaukee area. She uses vintage glass beads,
crystals, semi-precious stones and natural materials.
Her style is classic elegance. Currently she is an
assistant designer for May merchandising for the
women's suits and dresses areas.
Angelique Joseph - Graduated from Washington University with a B.F.A. in
Fashion Design. She interned with Nanette Lepore a
women's sportswear company and Bureau de style a trend
forecasting service in New York. Currently Angelique
works for May Merchandising as there Intimate apparel
designer. Designing for such labels as Valerie
Stevens, studio, Erika Taylor intimates and Q&A.
Angelique also designs jewelry. She likes using
natural resources like gemstones, turquoise, bone and
shell. Her look is bold and modern with a slight
ethnic twist. She has sold her designs at local Craft
shows.
Paul Bailey - Graduated for the University of Minnesota with a B.S.
in Retail Merchandising. He then attended the Fashion
Institute of Technology in New York majoring in
fashion Design and Tailoring. Paul has freelanced with
several manufactures in New York and has worked for an
urban Sportswear Company designing street gear. He's
has designed one of kind outfits for such athletes
like the late Brian Williams and Shaq. Currently he
works for May merchandising designing for John
Ashford, Brandini, Exceed, Emerge and John Ashford
Sport labels.
Sonya Monique Quarterman - Originally from Washington D.C., Sonja graduated from
the University of Virginia with a B.A. in French
Language and literature. She then studied clothing
design at the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture
Parisienne in Paris, France. She also interned with
haute Courtier, Patrick Kelly on his fall Ready-to
wear collection. Sonya has worked in Los Angeles,
designing for a variety of different companies like Z.
Cavarricci and L.E.I. before relocating to May
Merchandising where she designs women's knit tops for
the Karen Scott label.
