ATLANTA, (ENTERTAINMENT WIRE), Sept. 10, 2001 An all new episode of RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT!® premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 19, on TBS Superstation with fascinating stories from around the world, including a clothing designer that creates lavish dresses made entirely of jewels glued directly to the woman's body and a man who accidentally shot himself in the head with a 3 1/2-inch nail while remodeling his house.

RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT!®, hosted by actor Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), exclusively on TBS Superstation.

Other highlights from the Sept. 19 episode include World's Fastest Painter: Morris Katz can create a detailed and realistic painting within minutes. Painting for many years, Katz visits schools to educate children about the wonders of painting. In this segment, he will create two paintings in a few minutes.

RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT!® is the top basic cable series in its time period among men and adults ages 25-54.(a) The Web site recently received the Outstanding Advertising Web site award from the Web Marketing Association. Online fans can access information on host Dean Cain, an episode guide, the history of Robert Ripley and his amazing curiosities, submit personal stories, send an e-card or take the Ripley's Challenge.
