Park East Tower Luxury Condominium Development Planned for Central West End

Architect rendering of proposed Park East Tower luxury condominium development at Euclid and Laclede Streets in Central West End.

ST. LOUIS, (SLFP.com) February 19, 2004 Opus Northwest, L.L.C., has announced that the company will be taking over the lead development role in the $45 million, Park East Tower luxury condominium development to be built in the Central West End.
Opus will be teaming with Chicago-based real estate developer Steve Anrod and local real estate investor Steve Saller.
Planned for a prime location at the intersection of the popular Euclid and Laclede streets in the heart of the Central West End, Park East Tower will be a 26-story mixed use project and consist of 90 luxury, full-amenity condominium homes, including two elegantly appointed penthouses; up to 10,000 square feet of retail space, and secured indoor heated parking for Park East guests and residents.
The plan consists of a multi-story base containing ground-level retail, an elegantly appointed condominium lobby, five levels of enclosed parking and a seventh floor club level that includes a party room, lounge, fitness and health spa and swimming pool with a sun deck, all topped off by a magnificent, 21st Century, art-deco style condominium tower. One of the most stunning and unique amenities of this development is its spectacular views of the Arch, downtown St. Louis, Forest Park and Clayton, from the generous private terraces that will adorn the building.
In an announcement, John Pitcher, Director, of Real Estate Development and head of Opus' St. Louis office, stated "Park East Tower is an unprecedented development in the St. Louis region. There is no other project in the St. Louis region that combines such elaborate, luxury amenities into a sophisticated urban development in the heart of a walkable, livable community. Park East will soon be the address for those who want to live in a truly urban environment."
Floor plan options vary from one-bedroom to three bedroom condominiums to ultra luxurious penthouse residences. Prices for the condominium homes will range from $250,000 to over $1 million based upon home size and location within the building. Additional amenities at Park East Tower will include high-speed internet access; 24-hour doorman; dry cleaning and parcel drop-off; high speed elevators, and a lushly landscaped garden terrace with spacious sundeck and patio area adjacent to a swimming pool and spa.
Garrison Partners of Chicago, Ill., will manage the marketing of the condominium homes and has recently opened a St. Louis office in preparation for the up-coming launching of its efforts on the project. Locally, sales and marketing will be handled by Kathy Capps and Amy Rankin. Capps has been in real estate sales for over 12 years and was formerly associated with Janet McAfee Realty. Rankin, a native St. Louisan, has been working in the corporate office of Garrison Partners for three years and recently returned to the area to work on the Park East Tower project.
The Park East Tower sales office is slated to open in late spring 2004 and will be located on Laclede directly across the street from the development site. Retail tenants have not yet been confirmed but it is anticipated that the development and location will attract retail shops that complement the eclectic nature of the Central West End neighborhood and its residents and visitors.
