Web Developers Take on Challenge of Redesigning Its Web Site
ST. LOUIS, (SLFP.com), July 24, 2001 - The St. Louis Web Developers, the local chapter of the International Webmasters Association, will meet, Tuesday, Aug. 21, in the Daugherty Systems Auditorium, One City Place Dr., in Creve Coeur, to discuss the challenge of what to do when the content of a Web site has outgrown its navigation structure. The situation is a common issue which many organizations and businesses face. Tom Wheeler of Teralogix will lead the discussion about a new look for http://stlwebdev.org. Teralogix is a business-to-business technology consulting company.

The organization will meet, September 18, in the auditorium of One City Place Dr., in Creve Coeur to learn about "Search Engine Optimization" presented by Jeff Barczewski of SnowFlight Corporation. SnowFlight Corporation is a local software development firm specializing in commercial web products for small- to medium-size organizations.

As the majority of search engines now request payment for a quicker review of new Web sites, it becomes more critical that a Web site is optimized to place as well as possible in the rankings of directories and search engines. This information is important to both Web site developers and owners who want to make sure their information can be found by the public.

Sharp Introduces Luxury Audio Products
SharpAudio
NEW YORK, (BUSINESS WIRE), July 24, 2001 - Combining crystal clear digital sound with a slim, sophisticated look, Sharp Electronics Corporation has introduced its expanded line of 1-Bit digital audio amplification products, including three levels of groundbreaking luxury audio products: the new SD-NX10 and SD-SG11, the SM-SX1/DX-SX1, and the SM-SX100. Each of these products features Sharp's revolutionary 1-Bit technology, first introduced in 1999, which offers extraordinary sound quality and design.

"The expansion of the 1-Bit product line is an exciting step towards Sharp's goal of converting its entire audio line to 1-Bit digital amplification technology," said Art McKinnon, marketing manager, Sharp Electronics Corporation. "Sharp believes digital amplification will shape the future of audio formats. The 1-Bit product line, with its exceptional performance, high style and overall efficiency, is truly representative of next generation audio here today."

Audiophiles will further appreciate 1-Bit's faithful and crisp sound reproduction - almost identical to the original source - thanks to its ultra high-speed sampling of 2.8MHz, which is 64 times faster than the sampling rate of a CD. This ensures that the SD-NX10 and SD-SG11 offer ultra-quick audio response without the "muddiness" often detected in analog amplifiers.

Luxury sounds comes at luxury prices: SD-SX100 has a suggested retail price of $15,999.95; SM-SX1 is available now for $4,499.95; the DX-SX1 is available at $2,999.95; and the SD-NX10 and SD-SG11 will be available in September at a suggested retail price of $1,799.95.
